The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Bonita Springs, FL. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Required Licensing: 220 Or State Equivalent P&C license
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the personal insurance field
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of social media platforms.
  • Proven experience selling.
  • Strong customer service skills and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Valid driver's license
  • Adhere to the rating and underwriting guidelines of carriers

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for generating Personal Lines leads and sales for the company
  • Work with sales team to develop and implement effective sales plans that help drive organizational sales goals
  • Proactively recognize opportunities to sell products to both existing and new customers
  • Prepare rate quotes
  • Responsible for binding coverage and accepting payments from customers.
  • Assess client needs and provide advice and recommend appropriate coverage levels and products to ensure clients coverage is appropriate for all situations
  • Provide additional product offerings to existing customers to drive increase sales opportunities and meet customer needs
  • Provide customers with the appropriate insurance products in accordance with the company's underwriting rules and procedures in order to avoid risks and maintain a profitable book of business
  • Provide accurate information defining the client’s business and associated risks to carriers for underwriting
  • Respond to customer complaints and resolve matters in a timely manner that meets both the company and client needs
  • Attend industry training programs as necessary
  • Work and manage high volume of leads (company provided)
