Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance license preferred, or willingness to obtain one (employer covers training costs).
  • Minimum of 1 year of independent experience in personal lines insurance is required.
  • Familiarity with standard personal lines accounts (average size $5,000+).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to multi-task, follow through, and follow up effectively.
  • Professional phone etiquette and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
  • Team player with a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in using HawkSoft software is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to personal lines clients by managing and servicing accounts.
  • Handle inside sales, including warm leads from call-ins and website inquiries.
  • Process new business applications and service existing policyholder policies.
  • Collect complete underwriting information from walk-in and telephone prospects.
  • Prepare and present competitive insurance quotes for new and renewal business.
  • Conduct claims reporting and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Perform regular account reviews to improve retention and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, producers, and insurance company underwriters.
  • Maintain accurate records of policy changes and updates.
  • Participate in individual or corporate projects as assigned by management.
