About The Position

Acrisure is seeking a Personal Lines Account Associate to join our growing team. The role involves performing daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives according to the agency’s written procedures. Responsibilities include servicing accounts, responding to client inquiries, supporting coverage plans, and assisting with insurance marketing and sales. The associate will also collect renewal data, provide claims support, maintain client data accuracy, and keep Producers informed of account activities. Continuous learning and maintaining knowledge of industry trends and underwriting requirements are also essential.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Producer License or ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire date.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and be proactive.
  • Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives.
  • Service accounts, including account transactions such as quoting and issuing policies, ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
  • Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs on a timely basis.
  • Support and inform coverage plans as necessary.
  • Engage in insurance marketing and sales.
  • Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
  • Provide claims support.
  • Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to ensure items were received as ordered.
  • Maintain accuracy of client data in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Document all activities in agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Understand and utilize upload, download, and interface technology.
  • Assist other agency departments in securing and/or providing information necessary to issue appropriate policies.
  • Keep Producers informed of all important activities on their accounts.
  • Stay current with industry trends through educational seminars and classes.
  • Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers.
  • Complete other functions and assignments as assigned, including back-up duties.
