About The Position

A growing independent agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Insurance Producer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, servicing accounts, and helping to grow and maintain a book of business. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic field of personal lines insurance while collaborating with a diverse range of clients.

Requirements

• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
• Possesses effective negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of personal insurance products; demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
• Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Holds an active CA Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License – required.
• Familiarity with EZLynx or other industry-specific software/technology platforms.
• At least 2 years of personal lines brokerage insurance sales experience.
• Previous experience as an Insurance Producer or in a similar insurance sales role.
• Knowledge of insurance agency operations as they pertain to sales.
• Proficiency in sales, with a track record demonstrating ability to sell.

• Previous experience in personal lines insurance and account management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed personal lines insurance sales targets.
• Identify, explore, and cultivate new business opportunities within the personal lines insurance sector.
• Build and maintain strong, enduring client relationships, delivering expert service and guidance.
• Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations to enhance client support and knowledge.
• Generate and maintain a diverse portfolio of personal insurance clients, managing their evolving needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Service an assigned book of business.
• Handle service requests promptly and efficiently, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
• Provide expert consultation to clients, helping them choose the most suitable insurance policies for their unique requirements.
• Manage policy-related tasks, including renewals, claims, and addressing client needs to ensure an excellent client experience.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and legal requirements in all personal insurance transactions.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
• Continuously assess sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and applying data-driven insights to enhance sales strategies and results.
• Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on other relevant duties assigned to contribute to the agency's overall success.
