What You Do Account Manager Receive phone calls and office visitors regarding changes to existing and or new policies. Determine acceptability and placement, make recommendations, complete applications or endorsements requests and collect premium where applicable. Inform, educate and make recommendations to clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance coverage needs Handle all client, producer, and insurer service requests Maintain and develop advanced knowledge of underwriting and rating procedures for all types of policies. Maintain and further cultivate agency relationships with underwriters Review existing accounts to determine if an additional line of insurance or coverages of insurance should be recommended Mentor team members with emphasis on culture and morale High level agency management system tasks, accounting and claim management tasks Execute processes outlined in procedure manual Perform other duties as requested including exercising discretion and judgment prioritizing workload.

Requirements

  • Property and Casualty License must be obtained within 75 days of the first day of New Hire Onboarding
  • Must have strong personal lines technical knowledge - minimum 7 years’ experience.
  • The employee is responsible for adherence to the stated expectations of the E&O Plus Quality Management Program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with agency management systems
  • Proficient skill level in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities
