About Texas Regional Physicians Texas Regional Physicians (TRP) is a patient-focused, state-of-the-art medical practice providing comprehensive care across multiple specialties, including pain management, orthopedics, and regenerative medicine. Our integrated model allows patients to receive coordinated treatment plans in one streamlined setting—eliminating unnecessary office visits while improving outcomes. We specialize in treating patients involved in motor vehicle accidents and personal injury cases, working closely with attorneys and referring providers to ensure seamless care delivery. Position Summary The Personal Injury Scheduler is responsible for coordinating medical appointments for patients involved in active personal injury claims. This position serves as a key point of contact for attorneys, case managers, and referring providers, ensuring proper documentation is received and appointments are scheduled accurately and efficiently. This is an onsite role based in Houston, TX.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of medical scheduling experience required
  • Personal Injury and Letter of Protection (LOP) experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of pain management and orthopedic terminology preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and email communication
  • Ability to manage high-volume scheduling in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Schedule consultations, diagnostic imaging, procedures, and follow-up visits for personal injury patients
  • Coordinate directly with attorneys, case managers, and referring provider offices
  • Verify Letters of Protection (LOPs), referrals, and required documentation prior to scheduling
  • Confirm jurisdiction, accident details, and case information are accurately documented
  • Conduct daily appointment confirmations (on-site and off-site services)
  • Enter detailed scheduling notes, special instructions, and pre/post-operative instructions
  • Receive and screen inbound calls from attorneys and provider offices
  • Prepare and route medical records requests in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Maintain accurate tracking logs and procedure reports
  • Provide professional, high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
