About The Position

The Personal Injury Demand Writer will be responsible for creating compelling demand packages for submission to insurance companies, analyzing medical records, and collaborating with attorneys and case managers to align demands with case strategies. This role requires strong writing skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with medical terminology and personal injury law.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and the ability to interpret medical records.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear, persuasive arguments.
• Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in case documentation and demand preparation.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members.
• Familiarity with personal injury law and insurance claims processes is highly preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Medical Terms and Billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review cases thoroughly and create compelling demand packages for submission to insurance companies.
• Analyze and summarize medical records, billing statements, and other case-related documentation to support demand arguments.
• Prepare persuasive demand letters that outline case facts, liability, injuries, and damages effectively.
• Communicate with medical providers to ensure all necessary records, bills, and reports are obtained and reviewed.
• Identify case strengths and weaknesses and tailor demand strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to ensure demands align with case strategy.
• Track the status of demand submissions and follow up on responses from insurance companies.
• Maintain organized and accurate case files, ensuring compliance with deadlines and firm standards.
