About The Position
The Case Manager position at The Dominguez Firm, Inc. is a full-time role focused on supporting the Personal Injury attorney in managing pre-litigation matters. The Case Manager will be responsible for overseeing approximately 115 to 125 cases, collaborating with various departments including Workers' Compensation and Employment Law. This role requires strong communication skills, as the Case Manager will interact with clients, witnesses, law enforcement, and insurance carriers. The position involves a variety of tasks such as interviewing clients, gathering evidence, conducting research, and managing medical claims. The Case Manager will also assist clients in resolving property damage claims and will be involved in negotiating settlements with claims adjusters. This role is essential in ensuring that all necessary documentation is prepared for the demand writing team and that clients are guided through the settlement process. The Case Manager will maintain both electronic and hardcopy files in accordance with the firm's policies and will participate in monthly file reviews with the assigned Personal Injury attorney. The position requires a high degree of discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
