About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Personal Injury team. This role involves handling a broad range of personal injury matters and working collaboratively within a structured, team-based environment. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple matters while meeting the demands of an active caseload.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience handling personal injury matters, with plaintiff-side experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to client service.
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to explain legal concepts clearly.
  • Excellent case management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail and consistent follow-through.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus but not required.
  • Experience conducting depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Responsibilities

  • Handle personal injury case files from inception through resolution.
  • Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal guidance to prospective and existing clients.
  • Draft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, subpoenas, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research related to personal injury matters, including premises liability and applicable case law.
  • Gather and analyze insurance policies, medical records, medical expenses, and other relevant evidence.
  • Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
  • Negotiate settlements and resolutions on behalf of clients when appropriate.
  • Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials as required.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of case activity within the firm’s case management system.
