About The Position

Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring instructors for evening Personal Enrichment classes. This position provides instruction for recreational/personal enrichment subjects at the post-secondary level.

Requirements

• Four years of experience in one or more of the following areas: performing basic auto maintenance, instructing on basic computer technology skills, instructing on public speaking/networking skills, teaching self-defense techniques.

Responsibilities

• Teaches classes in person, takes attendance, assigns and gives feedback on performance/participation, assesses and documents students' progress, learns and may use the course web-based learning management system (LMS) Canvas and may use the online Student Information System (SIS).
• Provides instruction and conducts training sessions indoors and/or outdoors.
• Assists in development lessons and assessments and selection of course materials.
• Supervises and monitors student use of tools and/or equipment.
• Prepares and distributes instructional and study materials for students.
• Evaluates course program content and related information and recommends and implements changes or additions.
