The exciting opportunity Join the team at our homely 61 bed aged care facility in South Grafton Casual role with predominantly mornings and afternoon shifts available Assist residents with activities of daily living Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service to facilitate a pleasant home environment Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect residents’ care Collaborate with Nurses and other staff to deliver holistic, person-centred care
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Personal Care Worker in residential aged care
- Flexible, reliable and available to work a variety of shifts
- Personable, respectful, and with strong communication and customer service skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain)
- Working rights in Australia is essential (sponsorship is not available)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service to facilitate a pleasant home environment
- Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect residents’ care
- Collaborate with Nurses and other staff to deliver holistic, person-centred care
