About The Position

This is a driving position seeing patients in homes and facilities within the greater Springfield area, including the counties of Springfield & Champaign. This is a Full-Time position, Wednesday through Saturday, 8am-6pm. The organization provides superior care and services to patients at their end of life journey, seeking individuals with a heart for hospice. Personal Care Specialists are valued for their expertise in taking care of patients' personal needs with dignity, compassion, and empathy, providing quality nursing assistance and assisting families. The role involves working with a team and contributing input based on the close relationship developed with patients. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather
  • Valid Driver's license with Safe Driving Record
  • State minimum automobile insurance coverage

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Nursing Assistant with the State of Ohio preferred
  • One year of experience preferred
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPNA) preferred within two years of employment
