About The Position
The RISE Personal Care Specialist plays a crucial role in providing personalized service to patients and customers in a retail environment. This position involves engaging with individuals from the moment they enter the dispensary until they check out, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience. The ideal candidate embodies a friendly and upbeat demeanor, akin to a barista in a coffee shop, and is adept at connecting customers with the right products and methods of consumption tailored to their unique needs. Personal Care Specialists are expected to be knowledgeable about the product offerings and consumption methods, enabling them to educate patients and customers effectively on safety and usage. In addition to direct customer interaction, Personal Care Specialists are responsible for maintaining a positive work environment that prioritizes communication and customer satisfaction. They assist in verifying order deliveries, support management in ensuring smooth retail operations, and uphold compliance with local and state cannabis regulations. The role also includes maintaining the sales floor, ensuring it is well-stocked and compliant, and performing various duties at assigned workstations, which may include front-of-house and back-of-house responsibilities. The position requires a commitment to cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards throughout the dispensary, as well as the ability to perform physical tasks such as moving inventory and operating point-of-sale systems. Personal Care Specialists must also be prepared to work varying shifts, including mornings, nights, and weekends, to meet the business's needs.
