Personal Care Service Provider
About The Position
Easterseals NH is hiring a Personal Care Service Provider (PCSP) to join our Homemakers and Health Services team. As part of our dedicated group of in-home caregivers, you’ll have the opportunity each day to bring care, comfort, and a sense of connection to those we serve. Location: Dover and surrounding areas Schedule: Full time; Monday-Friday 1st shift Compensation: $20/hour Responsibilities: The PCSP will support in promoting independence, creating a safe home environment, and provide companionship to clients in a 1:1 home setting. Easterseals New Hampshire and Vermont elevates people of all abilities. We serve the diverse needs of approximately 18,000 children, adults, seniors, families, and veterans each year. We provide services across two states, and our programs cover areas like early intervention, autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, adult day and in-home care, behavioral health, family-centered practices for child welfare, housing, and substance use disorders. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work independently to meet the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of adults
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience working as a PCSP or caregiver preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily activities
- Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
- Assist with running errands such as grocery shopping
- Attend and provide support during doctor’s appointments
- Follow each individuals care plan
- Complete required daily documentation
