About The Position

The Personal Care LPN works with the Personal Care Coordinator, Medicaid Case Management Team, and other referral sources in implementing Personal Care Attendant Services and Private Duty Nursing Services to meet the needs of private pay, HCBS, and State plan (MPQHF) recipients. This includes recruiting, hiring, orientating, supervising, and coordinating Personal Care attendants; evaluating recipient needs and placing appropriate care attendant(s) to meet the needs of the recipient; monitoring personal care attendant services and recipient satisfaction; reviewing and authorizing personal care attendant and private duty nursing billing, and assisting the Personal Care Coordinator with marketing and reporting of personal care and private duty nursing services.

Requirements

• Knowledge of the problems and needs of the elderly and physically disabled.
• Driver's license.
• Ability to implement and use computer software accurately and efficiently.
• Current Montana nursing license.
• 0-2 years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• In-home care experience helpful, but not necessary.
