About The Position

Heritage Home Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Attendant to join our team at a Senior Living Facility in the Northeast Heights. In this role, you will make a meaningful difference each day by supporting multiple residents with their daily needs, helping them maintain independence, comfort, and quality of life in the place they call home. This position follows a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Care is provided to multiple residents throughout the shift, typically spending 15 to 30 minutes per individual, with downtime between visits available in the office.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
Previous caregiving experience preferred
CNA certification recommended, but not required
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively between multiple residents
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Reliable transportation and valid car insurance

Responsibilities

Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating
Follow prescribed healthcare and individualized care plans
Provide mobility assistance (e.g., transfers from bed, chair, or wheelchair)
Support a clean and safe living environment through light housekeeping
Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
Escort or transport residents to appointments or errands as needed
Monitor and report changes in residents’ health, behavior, or needs to the clinical team
Adhere to all care plans and delegation instructions provided by licensed professionals
Provide efficient, respectful care to multiple residents during scheduled visits
