About The Position

Requirements
- Reliable, energetic, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
- Act as a positive role model to support client and establish a constructive and appropriate personal relationship with client.
- High School Graduate or equivalent in experience providing personal care to individuals.
- Must pass DOJ background check.
- May require a California driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and current driving record from DMV.
- CPR/First Aide Certification
Nice To Haves
- Have behavioral health experience (preferred, not required)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients on building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
- Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
- Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients
- Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes
