About The Position

The Personal Care Attendant (PCA) role at Care Partners At Home involves providing compassionate, one-on-one care to clients with various diagnoses in their homes. Requirements

  • Proof of COVID vaccination (religious and medical exemptions available).
  • Proof of negative TB test (company will pay if needed).
  • Ability to pass a physical and drug screen.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Registered Home Care Aide (HCA).
  • Prior experience in caregiving or working with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (company will pay if needed).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in senior caregiving (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one care to clients with different diagnoses.
  • Assist clients in completing their activities of daily living.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing and toileting.
  • Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties.
  • Provide companionship and engagement to clients.
  • Follow the client care plan and provide updates as needed.
