About The Position
Looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support students in a school setting. This role involves helping with daily care, mobility, and classroom activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to assist with lifting and mobility
- Patient, caring, and dependable
- Must pass background checks
Nice To Haves
- Experience with children or special needs (preferred)
- CPR/First Aid (preferred or willing to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene (toileting, handwashing, grooming)
- Support student mobility and positioning
- Help during meals, including feeding if needed
- Provide one-on-one classroom support
- Follow care plans and staff instructions
- Monitor and report student behavior
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Assist with arrival, dismissal, and transitions
