About The Position

The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for performing personal care and homemaker services based on a nurse’s assessment of the client’s needs. This position is also responsible for providing respite and private duty care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of in-home care experience, either private duty or in a facility
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients
• Ability to lift 30 pounds using proper body mechanics
• Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs with accuracy
• Competency in completing required documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills for providing social interaction and emotional support to clients and caregivers

Nice To Haves

• 60-hour training or state tested nursing license
