We are seeking a PRN Personal Care Assistant to join our Adult Behavioral Health program in Steelton, PA. Schedule: PRN - Flexible; Pick up shifts as needed. Earn $19.33/hour plus shift differentials Position Details Our personal care assistants provide for the safety and welfare of all consumers in the Personal Care Home (PCH) setting, supporting their mental health and physical well-being. They carry out direct care responsibilities while participating in and following the treatment planning process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Active and unrestricted driver's license required
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement activities and other special projects designed to strengthen independent and community living skills and socialization/leisure time.
• Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
• Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
• Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment, medical appointments, or any other appropriate activities.
