About The Position
Join Discovery Therapy as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA)! Discovery Therapy, a company that truly cares for our family of therapists, is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our Early Intervention team in Philadelphia County. As a PCA, you will provide one-on-one support to children with a variety of developmental and/or learning needs in preschools, daycares, or home environments. Our children typically receive support for 4–7 hours each day, and your role will help them thrive in their daily routines and activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma REQUIRED
- CPR and First Aid certifications REQUIRED
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting children aged 3–5 with behavioral challenges and self-care needs PREFERRED
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one (1:1) support for children
- Assist children with behavioral, medical/physical, or neurological needs
- Implement basic care routines and support developmental goals
