Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid HHA or CNA certification/licensure (Massachusetts)
• Demonstrate physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds unassisted or 50 pounds with assistance
• Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with resident care plans
• Support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being while fostering dignity, independence, and respect
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and consistent care
• Assist with basic medical and supportive care tasks within scope of certification(HHA/CNA)
• Observe, document, and promptly report changes in residents’ condition or behavior to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment while adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
