About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services – Atlanta is seeking a well-experienced Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home support to clients across the Metro Atlanta area. This role is ideal for a professional who is dependable, compassionate, and experienced in assisting seniors with daily living tasks while providing companionship and meaningful engagement.
Requirements
- Previous PCA or caregiving experience required
- Strong knowledge of ADLs and senior care needs
- Reliable transportation to multiple locations across Metro Atlanta
- Clear TB test results
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Compassionate, patient, professional, and well-organized
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and support adherence to daily routines
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration and balanced nutrition
- Assist with light housekeeping and household tasks
- Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and cognitive stimulation
- Ensure client safety and comfort during all interactions
- Communicate with office staff regarding client updates and care notes
