About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support to clients. The PCA will assist with daily living activities while ensuring the safety, dignity, and well-being of those under their care.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a PCA, caregiver, or similar role preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Provide personal hygiene care while maintaining client privacy, dignity, and respect
- Support clients with meal preparation, feeding assistance, and hydration
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to client care, including laundry and tidying living areas
- Help with safe transfers and ambulation, including the use of mobility aids
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or mood to supervising personnel
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being
