About The Position

Traditional Home Care, a locally owned and operated Home Care Agency, is seeking reliable personal care staff to provide one-on-one, non-medical care for clients in Altoona, PA and surrounding areas. We are currently hiring Personal Care Aides (PCA), Direct Care Workers (DCW), Caregivers, and Home Health Aides (HHA). This position offers flexible scheduling with both full-time and part-time options available, including weekday and weekend shifts. Job training will be provided to ensure you are well-prepared for your role.

Requirements

• Must be comfortable using smartphones or tablets for logging visits and tracking service hours
• Reliable internet access is required
• Ability to provide non-medical care and support to clients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in personal care or caregiving is preferred but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care services (bathing, grooming, dressing)
• Provide companionship
• Perform light housekeeping and chores
• Respect the patient's privacy and maintain confidentiality
• Assist in providing a safe environment for the client
• Log visits and track service hours using a mobile device as required by the 21st Century Cures Act.
