Greenspring is hiring 12 certified Personal Care Workers to enroll in an on site Medication Aide course to become certified and licensed as a Medication Aide in the state of Virginia to provide care in our Assisted Living and Memory Care neighborhoods. This 3 week course will begin between early October-early November and requires day time availability for your first 5 weeks of employment. Compensation: $18.50 per hour.

  • Provide physical assistance with activities of daily living
  • Promote psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationships
  • Plan and facilitate social activities for the neighborhood residents
  • Assist with menu/snack selection and partners with the Service Associate in serving to ensure adequate nutritional intake of all residents and provide in-room dining experiences where requested
  • Assure the resident's room and neighborhood are kept tidy to minimize environmental hazards which may impact environmental safety
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Personal Care Worker preferred
  • Current CPR certification is preferred (CPR certification required within 90 days of hire)
  • Complete a Safe Food Handling and Preparation Class (within 30 days of hire)
