About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a home care environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of personal care needs and demonstrate empathy and patience while delivering services. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation. Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring any changes are communicated to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort during movement. Support clients with memory care needs through engaging activities and reminders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each client's needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space to promote a safe environment. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while providing care. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or a healthcare setting is required. Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus. Ability to effectively monitor vital signs and recognize changes in client health status. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations for personal care assistants. Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care or a healthcare setting is required.
