About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aides to provide quality in-home support to our clients in Fenton, MI. In this role, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, helping to improve their quality of life while promoting independence and dignity.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or caregiving is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate empathy
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to pass background checks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with mobility and transferring clients safely
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean living environment
- Monitor clients’ health and report any significant changes to healthcare professionals or family members
- Follow care plans and ensure client confidentiality at all times
