About The Position

Job Summary: As a Home Health Aide / Personal Care Aide at Sunlight Senior Care, you’ll provide essential in-home support to clients, helping them maintain comfort, safety, and dignity in their daily lives. Working under the supervision of a Care Coordinator, you’ll deliver compassionate, hands-on personal care, observe and report changes in client condition, and document all care provided. This is a meaningful role where your support makes a real difference every day.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Completed HHA training and competency evaluation
• CPR certified
• Ability to follow care instructions and work independently
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance
• Strong work ethic, empathy, and good personal hygiene
• Must pass skills and written competency tests (80% or higher)
• Must be able to pass a thorough background check

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting)
• Support mobility and exercises per care plan
• Take vital signs and assist with medications (with training)
• Plan and prepare meals, help with feeding if needed
• Keep living areas tidy and do light laundry
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Follow care plans and document services accurately
