About The Position

The Personal Banker at Windsor Federal Bank is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients. This role involves understanding customers' financial needs, processing transactions, opening new accounts, and managing account servicing requests. The Personal Banker also plays a key role in achieving sales goals and may provide coaching to less experienced staff.

Requirements

  • High School education with 2-3 years of customer service, cash handling, and sales experience.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and math skills, with the ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties efficiently and maintain composure under changing tasks.
  • Skills in influencing and negotiating with customers.
  • Ability to follow work rules, meet deadlines, and maintain punctuality.
  • Familiarity with financial institution deposit and loan products and services.
  • Ability to obtain an NMLS identification number as per the SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to build and deepen customer relationships through active listening and engagement.
  • Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and wire transfers.
  • Open various types of new accounts, ensuring proper identification and documentation is collected.
  • Manage account servicing requests such as address changes and ATM/Debit card issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Bank's loan policies and assist in originating loan applications.
  • Participate in skill-building training programs and adhere to security and regulatory policies.
  • Support community efforts and initiatives as part of the Bank's mission.
