About The Position

The Personal Banker at the Lehighton, PA Branch is responsible for promoting the bank's business and maintaining strong customer relations. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 1 to 3 years of personal banker experience.
• Proven track record in selling bank products.
• Working knowledge in wealth management.
• Problem solving and decision making skills.
• Intermediate keyboarding skills.
• Moderately complex math skills.
• Ability to create written materials.
• Effective communication skills with co-workers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Promote business for the Bank and maintain good customer relations as an active member of the branch office sales/service team.
• Conduct sales and cross-sales of all financial products and services to prospective and existing customers.
• Complete documentation and perform point-of-sale processing of new accounts and loan applications.
• Identify and refer prospective customers to the Wealth Management area of the Bank.
• Provide direct teller service to Bank customers and respond to inquiries and requests.
• Provide leadership and support to less experienced staff members.
• Assist in obtaining sales and growth objectives for the branch.
• Solicit new business from existing and prospective customers and maintain ongoing business relationships.
• Monitor individual sales performance versus objectives monthly and review current job performance with supervisor.
• Demonstrate sufficient sales skills to meet assigned goals by following the MCT Sales Process and Customer Contact Program.
