As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail organization, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA at the Erie Ave. and I Branch. PNC is an in-office company that fosters a collaborative and supportive culture where employees can thrive. The role involves acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through a variety of proactive sales and service activities. It manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing and collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet. The position focuses on positioning PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty, driving proactive sales conversations through various interactions including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. It aims to deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions, leverage ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships, and create customer loyalty through a differentiated customer experience. The Personal Banker also performs lobby engagement activities, educates customers on managing financial transactions using technology, and applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems. Risk management through adherence to policies and procedures and participation in branch daily operations are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

Associates or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties.
Typically requires 3+ years experience.
In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
Candidates being considered for this position will be subject to additional background checks as required by Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations.

Responsibilities

Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through a variety of proactive sales and service activities.
Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing.

Delivers a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
Leverages ecosystem partnerships as well as community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand and retain relationships.
Creates customer loyalty and grows customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources.
Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.

Participates in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed in an efficient and accurate manner.
