About The Position

At PNC, the Personal Banker role is a key differentiator, focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience. This position is based in Mansfield, TX, at the Mansfield Broad St branch, operating within PNC's Retail Branch Banking organization. PNC emphasizes an in-office, collaborative, and supportive culture. The role involves acquiring and deepening the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve financial well-being, and collaborating with ecosystem partners to grow customer share of wallet. Personal Bankers are responsible for positioning PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty, engaging in proactive sales conversations through various interactions including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement. They deliver comprehensive PNC conversations to identify appropriate solutions, leverage partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and retain relationships, and educate customers on managing financial transactions using technology and resources. The role also requires applying product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems, managing risk by adhering to policies and procedures, and participating in efficient and accurate branch daily operations. PNC expects employees to be customer-focused and adept at managing risk within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

  • Typically requires 3+ years experience (related experience or product knowledge).
  • Associates or equivalent degree, or a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).

Responsibilities

  • Acquires and deepens the branch customer base through a variety of proactive sales and service activities.
  • Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing.
  • Collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow customer's share of wallet.
  • Positions PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
  • Drives proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions with a defined sales process including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting and effective lobby engagement, ultimately elevating client loyalty.
  • Delivers a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions.
  • Leverages ecosystem partnerships as well as community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand and retain relationships.
  • Creates customer loyalty and grows customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience.
  • Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
  • Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources.
  • Applies product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
  • Manages risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
