The Personal Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, educating customers on all bank products and services, and actively cross-selling to meet financial needs. This role involves analyzing customer financial situations, opening various types of accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs), and promoting loan products, online, and mobile banking. The Personal Banker is expected to meet service quality standards, participate in sales referral processes, and assist management in coaching branch staff. Key operational duties include performing customer transactions efficiently using technology, managing and balancing a cash box, and acting as a Vault Teller to ensure adequate branch cash. Additionally, the role involves participating in community events and supporting CRA initiatives, while maintaining strict compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
