About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for their National Branch Network as part of the Consumer Banking and Lending division. This role involves delivering exceptional customer experience by building relationships, proactively reaching out to customers, and proposing appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help them succeed financially. The Associate Personal Banker will assist customers with basic requests such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. They will receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures, developing an understanding of bank products and services to connect with customer needs. This SAFE position requires customer contact and duties may include offering/negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling secured transactions, necessitating compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results, and individuals in a SAFE position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).

Requirements

6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations
Meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO)
SAFE registration at the time of employment
Meet applicable financial responsibility, character, general financial fitness and criminal background standards (for LO positions)
Meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary (for LO positions)

Support customers and employees in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints

Responsibilities
