The Personal Banker provides exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume, sales-oriented environment. This role involves evaluating customer relationships, recommending bank products and services to support financial success, and adhering to established bank policies and supervisory directions. Key responsibilities include achieving monthly new account production targets, participating in in-store aisle prospecting, and accurately processing daily transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, money orders, cashier's checks, bank-to-bank wires, Western Union wires, and cash advances. The Personal Banker is also responsible for verifying cash and checks, guarding against counterfeit currency, entering transactions into the computer, issuing customer receipts, and cross-selling bank services. The position requires providing services to a diverse customer base, including a significant Spanish-speaking population, and performing other supervisor-requested tasks related to bank functions. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential, with approval limits based on established authority levels.
