About The Position
As a Personal Banker, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor, delivering friendly, expert service and tailored financial solutions to help our members grow their financial wellbeing. You’ll support a range of member banking needs—including account management, loans, and digital banking—in a collaborative, professional setting. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in banking/financial services
- Strong communication/interpersonal, attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and basic computer operation
- Professionalism in conduct, communication, and appearance
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities based on member needs
- Ability to be bonded
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with Fiserv DNA
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, or related)
- Experience with lending
- Financial products/services knowledge
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
- Open and maintain various account types, such as checking, savings, IRAs, and trusts.
- Assist members with transactions, loan applications, and account inquiries, debit card replacements, online banking, and direct deposit letters.
- Educate and support members in using digital banking tools and services.
- Resolve account issues and debit card disputes efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support branch operations through clerical tasks, balancing duties, and participation in audits
