About The Position

JOB SUMMARY Provide personalized banking services to new and existing customers by assisting with account needs and providing STRONG customer service. This position is responsible for opening new accounts and establishing and maintaining consumer loan and deposit relationships as well as basic teller duties following the established bank policies and procedures. This position requires a high degree of integrity, trust, and confidentiality. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary Evaluate the needs of current and potential customers by offering appropriate financial products and services and providing customers with a complex variety of account related assistance Open personal and business accounts and prepare all related documents and follow-up Assist with any consumer loan requests by interviewing applicants, gathering required information, completing loan applications, and advising customers on the approval process Oversee the timely closing and funding of loans Maintain loan portfolio with sufficient sound documentations and minimal compliance exceptions Collect delinquent accounts in a timely manner following bank policies & procedures Process a wide range of deposit transactions for lobby, drive-up and telephone customers in a timely, efficient, accurate and courteous manner Maintain adequate cash supplies while adhering to cash limits Recognize potential deposit compliance exceptions Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations in conducting transactions and performing operations Provide education to customers on new products and services Maintain confidentiality of customer conversations and information and proprietary bank information Secondary Knowledge of the various products, services, and delivery systems Identify opportunities for additional consumer business Deliver consistent, superior customer service in accordance with GRB standards Take ownership of customers until issue is resolved by responding to inquiries and requests or directing them to the appropriate resources Provide support and service to co-workers to maintain and enhance customer service Active involvement in community and civic organizations, as appropriate to professionally represent GRB in the community Additional Follow established opening and closing procedures Participate in training and bank meetings as related to position

Requirements

Must be able to perform all over-the-counter customer services.
Must exercise accuracy, alertness, good judgment, courtesy, tact, patience and professionalism.
Must be able to speak effectively, actively listen and express thoughts in a clear, thorough manner.
Must be willing to collaborate and cooperate with others in the organization and possess effective working relationships with co-workers.
Must be able to demonstrate work stability, be self sufficient and self-motivating with satisfactory attendance/punctuality and an ability to be flexible in work schedule.
Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent along with basic math proficiency
Previous cash handling experience preferred
