The role involves offering all bank products, assisting with service needs, and opening new accounts such as checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and IRAs. Additionally, the candidate will discuss and sell loan products to both existing and prospective customers, while also promoting online and mobile banking capabilities. Meeting customer expectations and achieving service quality standards are key performance indicators for this position. The candidate will participate in and oversee the sales referral process, ensuring that customer financial needs are met while assisting management in coaching and mentoring branch staff members. The role requires the ability to perform all transactions required by customers and utilize appropriate technology to provide services efficiently. This includes maintaining and balancing a cash box, utilizing Teller Scanning Equipment, Cash Recycling, and Cash Dispensing machines, and supporting customers in using Coin Machines. As a Vault Teller, the candidate will ensure the adequacy of branch cash for daily transactions by assisting branch staff in ordering and shipping currency and coin, as well as controlling and distributing cash to Tellers within prescribed limits. Participation in community events, such as Habitat for Humanity, and supporting CRA initiatives, activities, and programs are also part of the role. The candidate will report all significant matters, issues, and unusual customer activity to the Manager while maintaining personal knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements. Adherence to the Bank's Code of Conduct and all policies and procedures is mandatory.
