About The Position

The Personal Banker at Windsor Federal Bank plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients. This position involves understanding customers' financial needs, processing transactions, opening new accounts, and providing tailored financial solutions. The Personal Banker is also responsible for cash handling and may coach less experienced staff, all while adhering to banking regulations and policies.

Requirements

  • High School education with 2-3 years of customer service, cash handling, and sales experience.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and math skills; ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Ability to perform various duties efficiently and maintain composure under changing tasks.
  • Ability to influence and motivate customers regarding financial products and services.
  • Ability to work in a team and follow work rules and procedures.
  • Familiarity with financial institution deposit and loan products and services.
  • Ability to obtain an NMLS identification number as per the SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to build and deepen customer relationships through active listening and engagement.
  • Offer Windsor Federal Bank solutions and educate customers on products, promotions, and digital services.
  • Meet defined growth and sales goals while providing consistent customer service excellence.
  • Process financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and wire transfers.
  • Verify customer deposit requests and provide transaction exceptions within policy guidelines.
  • Balance a cash box, cash recycler, and vault daily, maintaining compliance with the Bank's Cash Difference policy.
  • Open various types of new accounts, ensuring proper identification and documentation is collected.
  • Manage account servicing requests such as address changes and ATM/Debit card issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints effectively and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Process night drop and day drop deposits, and manage commercial and business deposits.
  • Engage in specific branch tasks or projects as directed by the supervisory team.
  • Maintain knowledge of the Bank's loan policies and assist in originating loan applications as needed.
  • Participate in skill-building training programs and adhere to all security and regulatory policies.
