About The Position

The Personal Banker is responsible for profiling customers to determine their financial services needs and referring them to other Line of Business partners when appropriate. The role involves opening loan and deposit accounts and achieving individual goals related to loan and deposit production, as well as other sales goals assigned by Branch management. The position requires flexibility around branch hours, with work hours from Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, plus specialized training or a two-year degree.
• Two to five years of general experience required, specialized experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Sales Platform training as assigned by Consumer Bank Training.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, sales aptitude, and service expectations successfully.
• Execute the expectations outlined in the Branch Playbook.
• Profile customers to recommend appropriate loan and deposit products.
• Utilize sales tools to enhance customer experience and sales conversations.
• Complete the S&T Sales process and document notes for future interactions.
• Input loan applications using appropriate LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation.
• Open new deposit accounts and produce necessary deposit documents.
• Suggest additional bank services and make referrals to other departments.
• Contribute to Branch goals and sales standards as outlined in the branch playbook.
• Execute professional sales and service behaviors in alignment with the Bank's values.
• Follow up on opened loans and deposit accounts to correct deficiencies.
• Assist branch management in coaching staff regarding the S&T Sales process.
• Maintain good working relationships with bank employees in other departments.
• Complete NLMS requirements as part of the S.A.F.E. Act certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations.
