About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network as part of the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. In this role, you will participate in the delivery of exceptional customer experiences by building relationships through proactive outreach. You will propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with basic requests related to opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications. You will receive direction from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures, developing an understanding of bank products and services to connect to customers' needs. Interacting with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships will be a key part of your role, as well as providing appropriate options for bank products and services. You will also refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed. This SAFE position involves customer contact and job duties that may include offering or negotiating terms and/or taking applications for dwelling secured transactions. As such, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including acceptable background investigation results. Individuals in a SAFE position must also meet the Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z, which are outlined in the job expectations below. You will be expected to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays, maintain a cash drawer, handle cash, and balance it while spending time completing service-related tasks as needed.
