The Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry-level position designed to assist in the execution of sales, product, or service activities in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary goal of this role is to foster strong relationships with customers, thereby building loyalty and enhancing sales to individual consumer clients. This position plays a crucial role in the overall customer experience and aims to create a positive impact on the bank's sales performance. In this role, you will work with business credit requests that are less than $250K, while also recognizing and referring larger lending opportunities. You will be responsible for cross-selling treasury and related small business products, which is essential for building referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program. Additionally, you will assist in developing strategies to grow the small business client base and implement effective sales plans targeting Book of Business customers. Your responsibilities will include delivering client services through outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services. You will also provide coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch staff on products and special programs, ensuring that client needs are identified and appropriate referrals are made. Recognizing the transaction needs of clients, you will educate them on all service and digital channels, leveraging technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present suitable product offers and financial solutions. Compliance with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures is paramount in this role. You will be expected to assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrating a strong commitment to the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, and applying sound ethical judgment in your personal behavior, conduct, and business practices. Transparency in managing and reporting control issues is also a critical aspect of this position.
