The Personal Banker SAFE Act position at IBC Montgomery Branch in San Francisco is an entry-level role focused on assisting in the execution of sales, products, and service activities in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary objective of this role is to foster strong relationships with customers, thereby building loyalty and enhancing sales to individual consumer clients. In this role, the Personal Banker will work with business credit requests under $250K, while also recognizing and referring larger lending opportunities. The banker will be responsible for cross-selling treasury and related small business products, which requires a proactive approach to building referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program. Additionally, the banker will assist in developing strategies to grow the small business client base and implement sales plans targeting the Book of Business customers. The Personal Banker will deliver exceptional client services through both outbound and inbound calls, aiming to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services. This role also involves providing coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch staff on products and special programs, ensuring that client needs are identified and appropriate referrals are made. The banker will leverage technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present product offers and financial solutions to clients. Compliance with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures is crucial in this role. The Personal Banker must assess risks associated with business decisions, demonstrating a commitment to the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets. This includes adhering to applicable laws, rules, and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment, and managing control issues with transparency.
