The Personal Banker is responsible for fostering a positive work environment that inspires, motivates, challenges, supports, and recognizes exceptional performance. They provide excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions. The role involves executing consumer-based and business relationship building efforts in a full-service banking center, focusing on daily sales initiatives and proactive customer interaction. This includes meeting with customers to discuss their banking needs, initiating outbound calls for customer onboarding, prospecting new retail customers, and cross-selling banking relationships. The Personal Banker also assists the Banking Center Manager in outside sales activities and participates in community service opportunities. Operationally, they must comply with all bank policies, procedures, and security measures, and may operate as a teller while supporting the banking center's sales and operational objectives.
