The ability to cross-sell various products and services is also a key component of this role, as it helps to meet customer needs while driving sales for the bank. In addition to customer engagement, the position requires the ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services. The individual will work under the direction of the District Operations Manager and may need to travel to various branch locations to provide coverage, ensuring high levels of customer service across the branch network. Meeting with customers to assess their financial needs and maximizing sales opportunities is a critical responsibility. The role also includes offering all bank products, assisting with service needs, and opening new accounts such as checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and IRAs. The individual will discuss and sell loan products to both existing and prospective customers, and must possess knowledge of online and mobile banking to effectively promote and demonstrate these services. Maintaining customer satisfaction and achieving service quality standards is paramount. The individual will participate in and oversee the sales referral process, ensuring that customer financial needs are met while assisting management in coaching and mentoring branch staff members. The ability to perform all transactions required by customers and utilize technology effectively is crucial for providing efficient service. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and balancing a cash box, utilizing technology such as Teller Scanning Equipment, Cash Recycling, and Cash Dispensing machines, and supporting customers in the use of Coin Machines. Acting as a Vault Teller, the individual will ensure the adequacy of branch cash for daily transactions by assisting branch staff in ordering and shipping currency and coin, as well as controlling and distributing cash to Tellers within prescribed limits. Reporting significant matters, issues, and unusual customer activity to the Manager while maintaining knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements is also a key responsibility. The individual must maintain knowledge and compliance with the Bank's Code of Conduct and all policies and procedures.
