The Personal Banker SAFE Act is an entry-level position focused on assisting in sales, product, and service activities in collaboration with the customer service team. The role aims to build customer loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients through effective relationship management and service delivery.

  • Work with business credit requests less than $250K and refer larger lending opportunities.
  • Cross-sell treasury and related small business products.
  • Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) Program.
  • Assist in strategies to grow the small business client and implement sales plans targeting Book of Business customers.
  • Deliver client services through outbound and inbound calls to acquire new relationships and deepen existing ones.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Tellers and branch staff on products and special programs.
  • Recognize client transaction needs and educate them on service and digital channels.
  • Leverage technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present product offers.
  • Comply with Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
  • NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
