WSFS Bank's Personal Bankers are responsible for providing products and services to enhance Customer relationships, understanding and educating customers on their financial needs, and recommending appropriate products and services through in-person interactions and outbound calling efforts. This role involves opening new accounts, submitting loan applications, complying with Bank policies and regulatory requirements, resolving customer service issues, performing account maintenance, and promoting digital banking services. Personal Bankers also assist with and process teller transactions. The bank provides a continuous learning environment with a 4-6 month training period covering transaction processing, account opening, referral techniques, customer service, and relationship building. This is a full-time 40-hour/week position with a flexible rotating weekly schedule, requiring 2-3 Saturdays per month. The position offers a competitive base salary, incentive opportunities, and benefits. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa petitions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience
  • One year of previous banking experience
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Prior consultative sales experience
  • Proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner
  • Proven ability for attention to detail
  • Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs
  • Proven, excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to market Bank products and services

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a retail sales environment is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide products and services to enhance Customer relationships
  • Get to know customers, understand and educate them regarding their financial needs
  • Recommend appropriate products and services through in-person interactions and outbound calling efforts

  • Comply with Bank policies and procedures, as well as regulatory banking requirements
  • Resolve customer service issues

  • Recommend and promote the Bank’s digital banking services
  • Assist Customers with teller transactions
  • Process various transactions in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner
