Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent education required.
• General customer service experience is required; personal banker experience is preferred.
• Previous banking experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of financial services and products offered by the bank.
• Excellent communication and public relations skills are essential.
• Professional appearance and attitude are required.
• Ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment, including 10-key and telephone.
• Solid math and bookkeeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial service functions such as opening and closing accounts, renewing time deposit accounts, and assisting clients with inquiries and problem resolution.
• Develop, train, and motivate lobby employees to assist customers and effectively cross-sell bank products and services.
• Identify sales and referral opportunities to meet related goals and enhance business generation.
• Establish and maintain effective business relations with clients, resolving requests and questions promptly and professionally.
• Maintain privacy of customer account information and uphold the bank's professional reputation.
• Coordinate with area personnel and management, keeping them informed of activities and significant issues.
• Complete required reports and records accurately and promptly, and attend necessary meetings and training sessions.
• Oversee annual year-end reporting and special projects at the banking center level, ensuring accuracy in new account data entry.
